The Tower of Pulpit is 16 metres high, being the only tower that was added to the walls after the conquest of Cáceres by the Kingdom of León. This makes it different from the rest of the towers in some aspects. Unlike the Arab towers it was built by using stone blocks instead of stone concrete or mud wall, which results in a different aesthetic. Also, it is the only tower linked to a building located inside the walls (Mayoralgo’s Palace), with an arch bridge raised during the 18th century, so that the denizens could watch the festivities held in the Plaza Mayor.

Address: Plaza Mayor
Recommendations: ( It can be visited by going through the Tower of Bujaco.)
